Bournonite with Quartz

Item Description

A bright cluster of metallic gray, slightly etched Bournonite crystals to 1.9cm from this well known Peruvian locality. This piece is much better in person and crystals are more distinct than they look in the photos. An interesting aspect of these Bournonites is that none of them appear to be twinned. They are also highlighted locally by patches of small Quartz crystals. Bournonite is copper-lead-antimony sulfosalt. In excellent condition and sits well for display!
