An exceptional bournonite thumbnail from the famous Quiruvilca Mine. A striking, 1.7 cm, pristine, lustrous, metallic, barrel-shaped crystal is aesthetically set on the sparkly metallic sphalerite crystal matrix. Flattened white calcite rhombs on both the bournonite and sphalerite add color and contrast. This fine piece is from the well-known 1980s finds and are generally considered to be Peru's finest bournonites. An old classic!
