Item Description

This specimen was collected in 2008. It hails from one of the most exciting Bolivian locality of the last 10 years. It hosts an attractive, sharp, tabular, metallic, lustrous, silvery-grey color, crystal group with good form and sharp faces that is aesthetically flaring off Pyrite matrix. For the quality and overall visual beauty, these new specimens have created a lot of excitement, so much so that one of the best pieces was featured on the cover of the March/April 2009 Issue of the Mineralogical Record! This specimen is from the same mine and is a great smaller Bournonite from any locality, not just Machacamarca. Valued at $550.
