Bournonite (new find)

Item Description

There was a find of this relatively rare copper sulfosalt a few months ago at Machacamarca, and this piece is definitely one of the more attractive specimens to come out in this size range. This piece is an attractive, sharp, tabular, metallic, silvery-grey color crystal. It is certainly good sized for this material, and very complete compared to many others which were simply partial crystals at best. It is well formed with good luster in areas, and some sharp modifying faces around the periphery. Valued at $400-$500 retail.
