Item Description

A fine quality cabinet sized display piece of Bournonite from the Casapalca Mine in Peru. Many sharp, well-formed, "cogwheel"-shaped twinned crystals of dark metallic grey-black Bournonite measuring up to 7 mm can be seen scattered over the underlying matrix, with some small black associated Sphalerite crystals. Nearly all of the Bournonites are undamaged, and they fun to view up close. Bournonite specimens from this mine are rare enough, almost impossible to find on the market today, and to have a full sized cabinet with so many excellent, euhedral, well-formed crystals with a big deal.
Valued $950.
