Item Description
From the world famous Herodsfoot Mine, which is best known for its world class Bournonites, here we have one of the great representations from this locality. I'm sure anybody familiar with Cornish minerals has seen the beautiful specimens of "cogwheel"-shaped Bournonite from this mine. This is a good example of said material, featuring a metallic, stepped crystal group of silvery-grey Bournonite with the classic "cogwheel" form. From an old east coast collection, and comes with an old typed label. To read more about this locality, be sure to check out the stellar article in the Mineralogical Record, Volume 43, pgs 411-486.
