Bournonite

Item Description

A fairly good specimen featuring sharp, lustrous, metallic "cogwheels" of gun-metal colored Bournonite on matrix. Good quality for the material. Specimens such as this are not common on the market, and this is certainly from an older discovery, circa late 1970s or early 1980s. From an old East Coast collection. The piece comes with a few labels, one of which is from recently deceased dealer, Larry Conklin.
