Item Description

This is a great thumbnail size specimen consisting of sharp, lustrous, tabular crystals of silvery Bournonite. I think it displays rather nicely and has an interesting arrangement. It has good luster and unique form with the typical gun-metal appearance. There was a find of his relatively rare copper sulfosalt about 5 years ago (2007) at Machacamarca, and this piece is one of the better specimens from this find in this size. The largest crystal measures 1.7 cm, which is good for the species, especially from Bolivia.
