Item Description

This specimen was collected in 2000. It hails from one of the most exciting Bolivian locality of the last 10 years. It hosts an sharp, tabular, metallic, silvery-grey color crystal. The piece has a unique appearance, and despite some rough edges, is fairly good quality for the locality and the material. Recently one of the best pieces from a recent find at Machacamarca was featured on the cover of the March/April 2009 Issue of the Mineralogical Record! This specimen is from the same mine. While perhaps this is not the most textbook crystal in the world, it has a fantastic termination, which I've tried to illustrated in the photo.
