Item Description

With the recent Chinese Bournonites out on the market, the Bolivian pieces get lost in the mix because the Chinese pieces are everywhere right now. There was a find of this relatively rare lead copper antimony sulfosalt last year (September 2010) at Machacamarca, and this piece is a good representative specimen from the pocket. This piece is an attractive, sharp, tabular, metallic, silvery-grey color crystal that somewhat resembles the silhouette of a Buffalo! It is certainly a cool novelty specimen, and would make a great addition to a collection of mineral specimens that resemble other things in nature.
