Item Description
From the great find of 2009. This is one of the better specimens of Bournonite that I have offered from Bolivia in the auctions recently. This specimen consists of very attractive, sharp, semi-lustrous, tabular, metallic, steel-grey color crystals of Bournonite, free of matrix. It is good quality and displays nicely as you can see from the photo/video. It is in good shape overall, better than the vast majority of pieces I’ve seen from this locality over the last 15 years. It's important to note that the best of these specimens are some of the best Bournonites that I have seen from any locality. I can't say if there will be any more of these specimens either, as the locality has been spotty for a while now.
