Australia is obviously the prolific producer of Opals in the world, especially since such a wide array of Opals are found there. This piece features beautiful patches of electric blue, green and purple Opal with some small gold flashes which are sitting within brown iron-rich Sandstone host rock. The vibrant color of the Opal against the dark background makes for a lovely specimen, which would make a great addition to your collection.
