Item Description

The gorgeous color play of peacock blues and greens on this sliced and totally polished specimen are mesmerizing. This striking example of "precious opal" is from Araluen Station, Bulgroo Field, which is 2.5 hours NW of Quilpie. The banded ironstone matrix on the back really adds more character to this spectacularl piece. This rarity displays well without aid. 83 grams. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!!
