Item Description

Boulangerite is extremely rare from the United States, and the majority of specimens that I've seen are found the Cleveland Mine in Washington state. This old-time, small cabinet specimen features a group of metallic needles of pure Boulangerite to form this attractive and very worthwhile display specimen. The piece has a rich gun-metal grey hue with a fibrous and lustrous exterior. This is not only a rare locality specimen, but a FINE quality piece of this incredibly hard to find material, and certainly worth picking up if you collect rarities, US minerals or sulfosalts. This might be the best Boulangerite from the Cleveland Mine that we've had to offer. From the collection of noted species collector Paolo Matioli of Brazil, who specialized in rarities around the world.
