Fascinating and dramatic large sculptural botryoidal malachite crust from this extinct well-known open pit skarn-type Cu-Mo deposit. When you move bright light back and forth over the shimmering, chatoyant velvet malachite botryoids, it looks like eyeballs or circles flash on the knobs, tracking your motion. The effect is mesmerizing and surreal. The dimples in the botryoids add even more character. Pristine. The striking and decidedly different form and lighter color of the chatoyant malachite on the back adds even more allure to this very fine large piece.
