Item Description
Sculptural, 3-dimensional, large old-time botryoidal velvet malachite from famed Bisbee. The rich green matte luster variably-sized botryoids add character, as does the the matrix "bench". The periphery wear highlights the multi-hued banded nature of the malachite and the radial growth of the botryoids. The botryoids exhibit some "life" marks, which is acceptable in the context of this circa 1900 classic malachite. Highly representative old-time botryoidal malachite from Bisbee.
