Item Description
Amazing, sculptural, pristine, two-sided floater cluster of intergrown velvet malachite botryoids from this famous Chinese mine. The botryoids have a beautiful, shimmering chatoyance, that dramatically accents the piece. This well-known skarn-type copper-molybdenum deposit is extinct, but artisanal mining by locals has recovered more fine specimens. Botryoidal malachite of this quality and style is rare from here and this is an outstanding small cabinet example.
