Botryoidal Malachite (ex Herb Obodda)

Item Description

Prominent, beautifully sparkly, bright grass-green, bubbly malachite botryoids richly and very attractively cover the matrix on this excellent older example from Katanga. I particuarly like the way the clusters have relief, with the matrix showing through, adding color diversity. It really adds panache to this showy piece. A trivial bit of scuffing is certainly only a modest detraction. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock.
