Item Description
Beautiful, highly lustrous, nubby, rich green bubbly malachite botryoids, to 1.7 cm, form a very sculptural and aesthetic small cabinet mounded specimen from an unknown mine in the famed Katanga Copper Crescent of the DR Congo. The bit of contacting on the lower left side has negligible impact to the overall high quality of this DR Congo classic species. Ex Rock Currier Collection No. 6502. Rock (1940-2015) is one of the most prominent mineral dealers and well-known author and lecturer of this era. His worldwide exploits obtaining mineral specimens are legendary.
