Dramatically layered, graduated in size, multi-generational bubbly malachite botryoids form a large surreal architectural specimen from the famous copper mines at Kolwezi. The color variations and secondary botryoidal overgrowths add real pizzazz to this very fine matrix specimen. The bit of noted periphery wear has minimal impact to the high artistic quality of this large piece from the 1970s to 90s finds. Valued at $800-1000.
