Purple botryoidal fluorite is rare worldwide and is EXTREMELY RARE from the polymetallic Morococha District of Peru, known for excellent rhodochrosite and sphalerite specimens. Juicy, translucent, pretty violet bubbly botryoids cover the 3-dimensional face of this impressive, excellent and rare large example. The hefty ore matrix includes pyrite, quartz and sulfides. Faint purple fluorescence.
