Item Description

Botryoidal fluorite is very rare worldwide, with the finest recent examples coming from Mahodari, India and China. Canon City has produced about the finest US examples, but never in large quanitites. This is an extremely sculptural 360-degree stacked cluster of pretty lavender to light gray banded botryoids. A contacted side reveals the underlying reddish matrix. In excellent shape, otherwise. A high quality piece, with unusual modest light green fluorescence. A must for the Colorado or species collector. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection.
