Item Description
Botryoidal fluorite is very rare worldwide, with the finest recent examples coming from Mahodari, India and China. Canon City has produced about the finest US examples, but never in large quanitites. This is an extremely sculptural 360-degree stacked cluster of pretty lavender to light gray banded botryoids with moderate translucence. A contacted base reveals the reddish matrix core. In excellent shape. A high quality piece, with striking rich pistachio-green fluorescence! A must for the Colorado or species collector. Ex Art Soregaroli Collection.
