Item Description
Striking sculptural cluster of multi-hued bubbly fluorite botryoids from Colorado. The moderately translucent botryoids range from lavender to gray-lavender to gray. Botryoidal fluorite is very rare worldwide, with the finest recent examples coming from Mahodari, India and China. Canon City has produced about the finest US examples, but never in large quantities. Ex Kurt Hefendehl Collection. A very showy and rich 270-degree specimen with minor matrix. Unexpected GREEN fluorescence from an unknown trace element!
