Botryoidal Fluorite

A very sculptural, flattened, two-sided crust of pretty lavender, translcuent bubbly fluorite botryoids from a recent small Chinese find. This find really shocked the mineral collecting world, because botryoidal fluorites are rare worldwide. The botryoids glow a luscious lavender under good light. This piece looks great from either side and you can see that the piece is partially hollow at the basal attachment. Excellent quality fluorite of the rare species and find.
