Botryoidal Fluorite

This recent find really shocked the mineral collecting world, because botryoidal fluorites are rare worldwide, and here you had intensely rich PURPLE (lavender) ones (which had rarely been seen before). This 3-dimensional plate hosts bubbly, botryoidal translucent fluorite, that glows a luscious lavender under good light. The matrix is banded multi-hued fluorite. The partial, off-white fluorite coating really adds pizzazz. Pristine, with a couple of contacts, with no damage noted, on the mound. The actual lavender color is somewhere between the two sets of photos. Very highly representative of the rare species and find.
