Botryoidal Fluorite

This recent find really shocked the mineral collecting world, because botryoidal fluorites are rare, and here you had intensely rich PURPLE ones (which had rarely been seen before). The translucent specimens glow a luscious lavender under good light. The bubbly botryoids have great form. The scattered yellowish iron oxide-coatings really add strangeness and pizzazz! Pristine. Excellent and highly representative of the rare species and find. The botryoids have a richer purple/violet color, than the photos show.
