Botryoidal Fluorite

Item Description

This recent find really shocked the mineral collecting world, because botryoidal fluorites are rare, and here you had intensely rich PURPLE ones (which had rarely been seen before). The translucent specimens glow a luscious lavender under good light. The bubbly botryoids have great form. The front is pristine. A bruised botryoid on the top is out-of-sight in the display view. The back is contacted, but it reveals the nifty hollow nature of some of the botryoids! Very highly representative of the rare species and find.
