Item Description
Azurite botyroids of different colors and unusual forms cover both sides of this very rich, sculptural, large two-sided rib from famed Morenci. One side has nubby navy-blue botryoids with a sparkly overgrowth of manganese oxides. The back side hosts three styles and colors of botryoids. The beautiful bright royal-blue botryoids in the center are flanked by matte-finish bubbly botryoids on the right and by more discrete sparkly nubby navy-blue botryoids on the left. Thats yellow glue from a poor repair attempt on the left side. A very showy, highly representative and rich uncommon style example of botryoidal azurite from this noted locale.
