Bornite and Calcite (excellent) Herb Obodda

Item Description

Sharp, isolated, iridescent, bornite crystals are attractively scattered on the 3-dimensional matrix and beautifully complimented by the very glassy calcite crystals on this outstanding combination specimen from Dzhezkazgan. The sharp, large bornite crystal on the left is 1.3 cm and the more rounded crystals on the right reach 1.2 cm. This is an excellent bornite specimen by any standard and are considered to be the finest found in modern times. Briefly common in the early 1990s, when they came out and now rare.
