Item Description
A few wonderful, sharp, lustrous, translucent, and very well-formed pale silvery-grey color crystals of Boracite on Anhydrite matrix from Luneburger. The largest crystal measurs 4 mm across. Very hard to find on matrix, and great quality for the size. A very worthwhile display piece with good aesthetics. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#7715). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Velt" November-December 2017).
