Item Description

Here we have a very good Boracite specimen from a recent find a few months ago in Bolivia. While these specimens are not a new discovery per se, they are new specimens from a well known locality. Most people are familiar with the "blue" Danburites from this locality, but the other staple species found here is Boracite. This piece features a few fairly sharp, blue-grey color cubes of Boracite measuring up to 9 mm, along with a pair of pale peach color modified cubes of Boracite on matrix. There were only a handful of crystals from the entire find that were on matrix, and to find different color crystals on the same specimen is indeed rare. Do not miss out on this nice display specimen of a species that is not often found in attractive specimens.
