Boracite (classic material)

Item Description

Many wonderful, sharp, lustrous, gemmy / translucent and very well-formed soft silvery colored crystals of Boracite on Gypsum matrix from Bernburg. The crystals are cuboctahedral in habit and measure up to 4 mm across. Fairly hard to find on matrix, and very good quality for the size. A more than worthwhile display piece of this hard to find material.
