Item Description
A gorgeous specimen of this rare mineral species: Radial sprays of bright golden-yellow, silky luster boltwoodite needles attractively cover a portion of the sculptural small cabinet plate. Boltwoodite is a rare uranium silicate and this showy combination piece if from this small uranium claim in Namibia, famous for excellent examples of the species. Glassy, translucent brown calcite scalenohedrons are a fine complement and typical accessory. Note - slightly radioactive.
