Striking and colorful radial sprays of silky lustre, golden-yellow boltwoodite needles are aesthetically clustered in the blocky, sculptural miniature from this small uranium claim in Namibia, famous for excellent specimens of the species. The sprays reach 8 mm across. Boltwoodite is a rare uranium silicate. Excellent material from the Shields Flynn Collection.
