A striking 6 mm radial spray of silky lustre, golden-yellow boltwoodite needles dominates this showy, sculptural miniature from this small uranium claim in Namibia, famous for excellent specimens of the species. Boltwoodite is a rare uranium silicate. The quartz and gossan matrix are a fine contrast and more boltwoodite on the front and back are a rich bonus.
