Item Description
Boleite is one of the great Mexican classic and rare species. A 9 mm boleite crystal is aesthetically set on stabilized clay matrix on this fine miniature from the Type Locality. The lustrous cubic crystal has rich indigo-blue color and striking modified octahedral corners, adding much pizzazz. It is from the famous 1970s finds by Ed Swoboda and Bill Larson at the historic Amelia Mine at Boleo. A very choice matrix example.
