Item Description
Boleite is a very rarely crystallized lead-silver-copper chloride species that is just plain unusual. This is a sharp crystal of relatively large size - much larger than you normally see, in any case. It has rich indigo-blue color, high luster, striking translucent edges and nifty modified corners. The crystals from this, the Type Locality, remain the best known by an order of magnitude, still today 100 and more years later. The base is a contact, but has no damage, per se. A very fine example.
