Bokite is a very rare vanadium oxysalt / aluminum iron vanadate that is only found in about 10 localities in the world. Most of those localities are either in Nevada or Kazakhstan. This piece is a from a locality in Eureka County, Nevada called The Fish, where Bokite has been reported. This piece features dull black semi-metallic patches of Bokite on matrix.
