Blue Wavellite (NEW Find)

Item Description

Unusual BLUE WAVELLITE from new finds of the summer 2010, at this old locale. This piece has pretty, lustrous and translucent wavellite botryoids that richly and attractively cover the contrasting stark white matrix. These botryoids are super-glassy and have beautiful rich color, very much more blue than green and totally unusual for the mine. The photos make the botryoids about as blue as they actually are, but less lustrous than in person. This is a fine example of this new find, of which we bought the majority of the blue material.
