Item Description

This gem is a beautiful intense blue Topaz (which has been irradiated to create the color) from Brazil. I want to point out that while that Topaz is a naturally occurring material, the color in this stone has been created by humans. This treatment is widely known and accepted in the gem world, and is not frowned upon, provided the buyer is aware that they are purchasing a treated stone. This stone has an "Oval Brilliant" cut with eye-clean clarity. A really attractive gem that would make a nice addition to any collection, or as the center stone in a pendant or ring.
