Item Description

Blue Topaz is a fairly common stone on the market, but keep in mind that the vast majority you'll find (especially those from Brazil) have been irradiated to create the color. Now this treatment is perfectly acceptable in the gem world, it's been well-known for decades, but it's important to disclose that these gems have been irradiated, especially for those who are new to the gem world and may not realize what kind of techniques are used in certain instances. With that said, this is a beautiful custom-cut blue Topaz with a "Modified Pear" cut and a rich saturated blue color, and eye-clean clarity. A beautiful stone that would make a great center gem in a pendant.
