Item Description
This fairly new material (we started seeing it at the end of 2019) has been given the trade name Blue Tide Seam Onyx, though I have seen it called Blue Tide Seam Agate as well. It's some of the most distinctive and beautiful material we've seen from Indonesia, hands down. This stone consists of beautiful blue "plumes" and almost dendritic swirling formations which are set against a beige colored Calcite matrix. We believe the blue mineral is some sort of copper-bearing species, but I haven't found any analysis posted anywhere to confirm its identity. With that said, it's gorgeous material, and I'm sure many of you don't have one in your collection, so be sure to pick this one up for a great price, because last I heard, there was nothing coming out over the past year.
