Item Description

Perhaps the most famous Blue Quartz specimens in the world are those found in Spain. These crystals are essentially colorless, but are included by the rare amphibole, Magnesioriebeckite, like the Danburites from Alto Chapare in Bolivia. This piece has a good coverage of sharp, lustrous dipyramidal Blue Quartz crystals, sprinkled on matrix. Not all of the crystals are complete, but several of them are in good shape. A good cabinet sized representative piece of this well known and oddly colored Quartz.
