Item Description
Densely banded, beautiful variable blue and white agate surrounds a striking and unusual core on this dramatically sculptural and gorgeous polished nodule of blue lace agate. The remarkable core consists of three parts: a large field of tiny matte luster agate botryoids; a 3-part "wall" of slightly larger agate botryoids; and a smaller agate patch that hosts bizarre, shapely agate "bullseyes" and larger botryoids. The bit of contrasting matrix, plus the form of the 360-degree specimen makes for a fascinating and most colorful specimen. These are considered to be the world's finest banded blue agates with an unknown color component. 290 grams mass. From a NEW find in Madagascar. Stunning and exotic FOR THIS QUARTZ VARIETY!
