Item Description
This is a SUPER rare and special Dolomite specimen from a single discovery in Colombia. These gemmy, bluish-purple Dolomite crystals (to 1 cm) are simply unique in our experiences. There are also many tiny pyrite crystals on the matrix, and a few calcites. It is a very good sample for rare mineral or carbonate collectors, but because of the color and sparkle, it is simply interesting for anybody. You just do not often see pieces with such stark contrasts as this shows, in person. It is sparkling and pretty in a unique combination, that stands out. We believe these were found circa 2015 or so.
