A remarkably sculptural and beautiful large two-sided rib of solid barite from this famous locale. The front of this dramatic arborescent piece is composed of lustrous, pearlescent, blue-gray tabular spearpoints with a fantastic snow-white Christmas tree "flocked-look" of secondary barite in the interior. The myriad of crystals on the back are darker, due to oxide inclusions. Very interesting two-sided crystal chemistry and fluid flow here.
