Blomstrandine is an obsolete synonym for Aeschynite-(Y), a rare complex REE oxide. Some of the finest examples are from the pegmatites of Iveland, Norway. This sharp euhedral crystal has a bit of embedded muscovite to add character. An excellent and highly representative example of this rare REE material and locale.
