Bladed Cavansite on Stilbite

An EXCELLENT and very showy, fan-like cluster of lustrous, royal-blue cavansite blades aesthetically set on basalt matrix covered with tiny, lustrous, stilbite blades from the famed Wagholi Quarry of India. This is a superb miniature for its own aesthetics and for the crystalography shown: Bladed cavansite of this variety is far less-common, than the cavansite balls. The cavansite cluster looks like a beautiful, blue corsage from another view. These are, also, large blades. About 1 in 1000 cavansites might have this more rare form showing textbook crystallography, as opposed to the radial spherical clusters you normally see. Undamaged, aesthetic miniatures like this with such large crystals of this habit are uncommon and I have a standing order to buy any from one of my major sources there. Valued $1250
