Bizarre Aquamarine w/ Schorl

A fascinating and very unusual large aquamarine crystal from the Erongos. The upper half of the crystal is a very fine, hexagonal, gem aqua with beautiful blue color. The embedded, small schorls (mainly on two sides) really add pizzazz. The lower half of the crystal and the attached side cars have bizarre extensive dissolution/etching from corrosive solutions. The chemistry must have really changed in the pocket! Certainly a strange and desirable large aqua from the Erongos. Valued at $750.
